General Conference-Spring 2013 :)

I love hearing from our leaders, and I know that the words they share are inspired of the Lord.
Here are a few things that I really liked from this past General Conference.

  • View your marriage as priceless, and a number one priority.-L. Whitney Clayton
  • Marriage is a gift from God, the quality of our marriage is our gift to Him.-L. Whitney Clayton
  • Obediance to the law is Liberty. -L. Tom Perry
  • When we break the promies of marriage, we remove the glue of society.-L. Tom Perry
  • Be a light on the hill. Stand firm.-L. Tom Perry
  • Heavenly Father has a guide for our life, but we must be obedient.-President Thomas S. Monson
  • The size of your testimony is not the issue, it is what you do with what you have.-Jeffrey R. Holland

  • What we know will always trump what we don't.-Jeffrey R. Holland
  • Following Christ is not an occasional practice. Follow at all times and in all places.-Dallin H. Oaks
  • The Lord is ever interested in my life.-Christoffel Golden Jr.
  • God is the author of this work, and Jesus Christ is it's cheif cornerstone.-Bruce D. Porter
  • Be the bright and cheerful voice in the storm.-Bruce D. Porter
  • Speak Kind Words!
  • Draw near unto Him, and He will draw near unto you.
I felt the spirit of the Lord speak to my heart as I participated in General Conference! I know this church is true, and that our leaders are called of God.

There once was a girl named Harley

Once upon a time there was a girl named Harley who was slightly hyper and a little less organized than she would have liked to be. Harley didn't know what she wanted in life.....and so she randomly ran around (quite literally...) and tried to figure it all out. After some hard work, she journeyed to the land of Orem Utah, her first time going at life alone. She met some amazing people, found out she was stronger than she once thought, and started to get a glimpse at who she really is deep down inside....

It's been a while, So here's the latest...

1. run run run run...
As many of you know, I love batman. I also love to run. This picture is self explanatory...

Gooooood ol plantar facia problems....

Indoor Conference in Houston!

Indoor conference was great! not only did I PR in the Mile (5:13...) I also found a magnificent acorn. Bucketlist....

First Outdoor meet in San Diego what uppppp..

Outdoor season is the best season in all the year!! We just had a meet at home last weekend, and my family and friends got to come watch! It was great!! :) I ran the 1500m in 4:55.

Track can be hard sometimes...

2. The semester is almost over, and that means I have to leave my beautiful roommates :( boooo. These girls are the greatest, and I love them more than they will probably ever know. They are the sisters I never had. Kelsey got her mission call to Argentina, and McKayla got her's to Paraguay!

3. SUMMER!
As of now I have no idea what I'm doing this summer. Stay in orem, go home, go to provo, move to slc with a friend, work in Idaho. The options go on, but my decision making is weak!!! Blahhalajdlfaj. One day I'll figure it out.

4. College adventures at their finest....

Had a fun time dating this kid!

Now my life be like...

I spend my spare time building fortresses like this while my roommates are away....

Writing lots of missionaries/my best friends..... :)

And although this semester has given me some rough times, I'm happy. :)

This semester has had it's ups and downs, heart breaks, good times, bad times, friends, learning, running, blah blah blah. It's been alot! But I can honestly say I've loved every second of it...
