This is my good friend, roommate, and cross country buddy Kelsey and I celebrating after we took our last final.
This included the burning of flash cards, the flicking of flash cards as if we were 'makin it rain' with money, and hugging.
Take that you wretched flash card finals! I do not like finals. They are hard, and they hurt my head kind of.
Christmas break! Ooooh blessed Christmas break. It was absolutely wonderful. Why you may ask? Well I shall tell you!

My dad and I took an adventure to the land of Maui. It was great, and my dad is a rather awesome man. I love him :)

I miss you Maui, and your nice warm eighty degree weather. Utah has no such weather to offer me in January. Sigh :(
Christmas break was also great because I got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas with my favorite kids. Yes that would be the Eaton Family. I love them to the moon and back. It was fun being Santa with my sister Zinna.

Other things from winter break include epic sledding adventures, a grand cabin adventure with my good friends Carl, Austin, and Shelbie, a memorable New Year's Eve, and the start of a BRAND NEW YEAR!
Guess what!? It's the greatest time of the year (besides christmas that is) It's TRACK SEASON!
Track season is the best, and sometimes I worry that people really just don't understand how great track is. :)
Our first Indoor Meet was at Boise State.

I raced the 3K. My goal time was 11:40, but I eneded up getting a 10:50 and placing 4th! It was a great race for me. I love the 3K!
The 3K is 200meters less than two miles. It was my first time racing this distance, so I was a little bit nervous, but my coach helped me set some paces. It really was a great race! I felt good about it. I want to get around 10:25ish, or under. That's my next goal. Once outdoor starts I will get to do the Steeplechase. I am very excited.
Overall life is good! I mean it really is! I feel so blessed each day. I know the Lord's hand is in my life, and it makes me happy. The church is true!
